SUMMARY OF THE FIFTH NARRATIVE SEMI-ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE PROJECT CS-ICT

During the last six months of the project implementation, the focus was on the research and theoretical developments in the compressive sensing field. In the period covered with this report, the CS-ICT project team published 20 scientific papers and among them 9 papers in the top ranked international journals from the SCI list, and 11 papers at the international conferences.

SUMMARY OF THE FOURTH NARRATIVE SEMI-ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE PROJECT CS-ICT

During the last six months of the project implementation, most of the efforts have been made to the contribution of the theoretical developments in the Compressive sensing field as one of the currently most attractive field in signal processing and engineering applications. As it was mentioned in the previous reports, the CS-ICT project team has already achieved numerous scientific contributions to the field of Compressive sensing. In the period covered with this report, the CS-ICT project team published 22 scientific papers and among them 10 papers in the top ranked international journals from the SCI list, and 12 papers at the international conferences. Also, 5 book chapters have been published during this period.

SUMMARY OF THE THIRD NARRATIVE SEMI ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE PROJECT CS-ICT

At this stage of the project, the CS-ICT project team has already achieved numerous scientific contributions to the field of Compressive sensing, building high competences, identity and recognisability of the Compressive sensing research laboratory at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Montenegro. In figures, so far the project team published 63 scientific papers and among them 30 papers in the top ranked international journals from the SCI list. Also, two chapters are dedicated to the compressive sensing theory and algorithms within the two books published by the eminent world publishers (Springer and CreateSpace Amazon) authored by the researchers form the CS-ICT team.

SUMMARY OF THE SECOND SEMI ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE PROJECT CS-ICT

The aim of this project is to develop new algorithms and techniques for compressive sampling/sensing (CS) and spectral analysis of signals. Also, with the help of all partners involved in the project implementation, the aim is to design an interesting applications in order to become the most attractive and competitive laboratory for considered research field. On the basis of achieved results, the aim is to produce a hardware based solution (using programmable logical devices) which will perform the functions of the developed algorithms. In the cooperation with the partners, we will be working on the development and implementation of new techniques primarily for the applications in multimedia systems, biomedicine and communications. The important aspect of the project is staff mobility. Exchange of researchers provide getting a deeper and better insight into current achievements and state of the art in the research activities performed within each of the partner institutions. The mobility program should result in knowledge transfer and improvement of research and practical skills for project participants.
